Guitar Repair
-COMPLETE SETUP -$50
a complete set up includes checking and adjusting the following: string nut, truss rod for neck relief, string action/height from fretboard, intonation, pick up height, tremolo, fretboard oiling, and new strings.
-BASIC ADJUSTMENTS- $30
Any one of the following: intonation, string height, truss rod adjust, string nut, Saddle on Acoustics and Classicals.
-FRET WORK: LEVEL, DRESS, POLISH - $100 (Includes Setup)
Level uneven, worn, and flat frets, recrown them, and then polish to a factory-like mirror finish. Includes: Setup and Strings. This is the repair that is needed the most, but many players wait until the frets are so worn that they need a refret. Save money and get fret dressings more often.
-NEW BONE OR CORIAN STRING NUT - $70 (includes setup)
Both Bone and Corian are very good materials and hard enough to last a long time. For repair or adjustment of existing string nut, price quote after inspecting guitar. Plastic string nuts also available with any additional setup work charged extra. (Extra charge for 12 string guitars)
-FULL REFRET $200-400 (includes strings and setup)
Some considerations for price on refrets are: bound or unbound neck, electric/bass or acoustic/classical guitar, set neck or bolt on neck, condition of fretboard, and if fretboard is laquered. I have a wide variety of fret wire available and can work with you to find which fits best with your playing style. All refrets include a complete setup.
-PARTIAL REFRET -$100 + $10/fret
